Golden Construction President to Serve as Campaign Champion

Features

Geoff Golden, president of Golden Construction, is serving as this year’s Champion for the Men Go Red campaign for the American Heart Association. Golden is rallying together men in the community and industry to support the Go Red for Women campaign and joining the fight against America’s No. 1 and No. 4 causes of death: heart disease and stroke.

Since 2004, the Birmingham Go Red for Women movement has raised over $1.5 million in the fight against heart disease and stroke in women.  In just over 10 years, they have saved more than 627,000 lives, but the fight is far from over. Heart disease causes one in three women’s deaths, killing approximately one woman every minute.

ABC is proud to join Golden in support of the Men Go Red campaign.
