Gray Construction and Sanritsu Logistics America Partner on New Facility in North Carolina
Sanritsu Logistics America, Inc., a subsidiary of Sanritsu Logistics headquartered in Japan, announced a new facility in Reidsville, North Carolina. The company selected Gray Construction to design and build the new 51,153 s.f. facility.
“We were looking for a location for our base in the U.S. where the dynamic infrastructure we need would be satisfied,” said Mitsuharu Tanaka, CEO of Sanritsu Logistics America. “Rockingham County in North Carolina provides the strategic infrastructure to meet our client needs and expectations.”
The new facility will house a warehouse for heavy machinery including laser machines and bending machines for sheet metals and will also provide manufacturing and assembly capabilities.
“We are grateful for the utmost cooperation and support by the state of North Carolina’s Department of Commerce as well as the Economic Development Partnership, Rockingham County, and of course, the City of Reidsville for this bright opportunity,” Tanaka added. “We look forward to expanding our business and contributing to this society.”
“Gray is proud to partner on this new project,” said Stephen Gray, president and CEO of Gray Construction. “We look forward to seeing the impact that this project will have on both Sanritsu and the local economy.”
The project is scheduled to be complete in the summer of 2019 and will create some 24 jobs.
