Byars|Wright Inc. Appoints New Branch Manager to Open Fourth Office

Building Alabama

Byars|Wright, a local family-owned and operated independent insurance agency, announces its expansion into Homewood. Gabe Clement, currently a producer within the agency, was recently promoted to lead the new office, located at 1701 28th Avenue South.

“We’re excited to announce our new Homewood office and to be a part of the continual progress in this city,” said Haig Wright, II, President and CEO of Byars|Wright. “With a branch in Homewood, we are well-positioned to continue cultivating our footprint in the greater Birmingham area. This opportunity is a positive reflection on our entire team and customer base, as they are critical to the success of our endeavors.”

Homewood’s commitment to its community and robust growth in recent years mirrors Byars|Wright’s commitment to its customers and long-term growth strategy. Wright says that serving their communities is a primary focus of each Byars|Wright branch.

“We are looking forward to supporting Homewood and becoming part of this great community,” said Wright.

As Branch Manager, Clement will relocate his office from Gardendale to Homewood. The Auburn University alumnus is a current resident of Homewood and heavily involved with the Associated Builders & Contractors of Alabama, which is located down the street from Byars|Wright.

“Not only do Gabe’s customers genuinely like and trust him, his teammates within the agency feel the same,” said John Byars, Vice President of Byars|Wright. “From the beginning, Gabe has been an extremely hard worker and big-time performer. As his mentor, it didn’t take me long to recognize his potential.”

“Our agency model, a 73-year-old system that has allowed us to experience tremendous growth as a family-owned company, is to ‘bring them in, build them up, send them out’,” Byars continued. “Today is about Gabe and Homewood, but the days ahead will bring additional opportunities. We have no plans to slow down.”
