Caddell Construction Awarded New Dorm and Dining Classroom at Lackland Air Force Base, TX

Caddell Construction has been awarded a $143.5 million contract for construction of the Airman Training Complex Dorm #5 and Dining Classroom Building #3 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

Under the new contract, Caddell construct a 1,248-person basic military training (BMT) dormitory and a dining/classroom facility that supports two BMT dormitories. The dormitory is four stories and approximately 280,550 GSF.

The dining/classroom facility is three stories  and approximately 106,500 GSF. The first floor will consist of a full-service commercial kitchen and dining area, and the second and third floors will feature eight 120-person classrooms with stadium seating.
