JH Berry Risk Services Relocates Headquarters to Homewood

Building Alabama

JH Berry Risk Services has relocated its office headquarters to the City of Homewood. The 16,000-square foot JH Berry Risk Services building is located at 2552 18th Street South.

“We are proud to be a part of such a great community like the City of Homewood and believe the new building embodies progress towards a more beautiful city,” said Chris Hartnett, President of JH Berry Risk Services. “It is our hope that the building will create an employee culture that encourages communication and collaboration.”

The new space features three floors of state-of-the-art workspaces, private offices, outdoor gathering areas, and conference rooms with sophisticated multimedia equipment. The buildings expansive glass storefront and floor-to-ceiling windows also offers 360-degree views of Homewood.

The building stands at the prominent intersection of 18th Street South and Rosedale Drive and is part of a larger Rosedale redevelopment plan that includes sidewalks, landscaping and on-street parking. Previously occupied by Alabama Pool Services, the new design utilizes the contrast between light stucco and clean lines with select expanses of glass to transform the dated into the modern. Black Design Architecture designed the space, Stone Building Company was the general contractor on the renovation of the building and Audio Video Excellence (AVX) provided audiovisual solutions.
