Turner Construction Company Hires Joe Fuda as Financial Manager

Building Alabama
Turner Construction Company announced the hiring of Joe Fuda, who will serve as financial manager for the company’s Mid-South business unit, which covers the Tennessee and Alabama markets.
Fuda comes to Turner from Quantum Real Estate Management in Washington, D.C., where he served as a financial controller. During his time there he improved the company’s internal reporting systems and directed a successful accounting system change, leading the company to operate in a leaner fashion. Before his time at Quantum, he worked as a controller at Lendlease, Winn Residential, Del American and United Group of Companies.
In his new role, Fuda will work closely with Turner’s leadership team on the development and preparation of annual profit plans, forecasting reports and other key business decisions. His responsibilities will also include training the team on financial policies and procedures and leading and mentoring junior staff members. He will be based out of the company’s Nashville office.
“Joe has a keen analytical eye and is an excellent leader with three decades of experience as a financial controller in the construction and real estate industries,” said John Gromos, vice president and general manager of Turner Construction’s Tennessee/Alabama business unit. “Investing in talented people like Joe allows us to continue positioning our Tennessee and Alabama offices for growth. We’re excited to welcome him to the team.”
Fuda earned his master’s in accountancy from Lipscomb University in Nashville and his bachelor’s degree from Pierce College in Philadelphia.
