Date: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019
Time: 1 p.m. EDT
Length: 30 minutes
Speakers:

Nat Peniston, Vice President, The Contractors Plan

WEBINAR DESCRIPTION

ABC Members Only

Providing self-funded health benefits to an hourly and geographically dispersed workforce requires a unique approach that integrates enrollment, ongoing eligibility management, premium collection and compliance. Self-funding has many positives, such as reducing costs and increasing plan flexibility, but it is not a solution for all contractors. If you have more than 25 employees and expect to offer benefits moving forward. consider buying your health insurance vs. renting it. While not appropriate for all employers, level-funded plans may be of help in reducing costs, especially from lower taxes and insurance company profits, flexible reporting and building a claims reserve that can be used to enhance future benefits and lower premiums.

THIS WEBINAR IS DESIGNED TO

  • – Convey key facts about partially self-funded medical plans.
  • – Understand how and when self-funded can work in construction. Is this a fit for my company?
  • – Integrating other benefits (retirement, dental, etc.) into a cohesive array.
  • – The benefits of leveraging a common enrollment/benefits administration platform.
  • – Provide the steps to take in order to move from fully insured to self-funded.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

  • – Business owners
  • – HR professionals
  • – Agents and brokers who cater to contractors
